Cycling to the Tanks

I rented a dutch cruiser while in Vancity so I could bike around Stanley Park and go to the aquarium. I’m in love with the bike, I’ve always wanted a vintage looking cruiser with a little basket in the front. Comfortable upright riding. imageimageimageDSC03498DSC03540DSC03575

Vancouver: Capilano/ Grouse

So I took another mini vacation this year in May, last year I went to NYC but since the currency exchange is so bad right now it’s really best for me to stay in Canada. So I flew over to the west coast to Vancouver. DSC03313Me and my brother walking on the Cliffwalk, literally suspended around a cliff. DSC03336A very wobbly and shaky suspension bridge. It was so unstable I couldn’t take photos while on it because it was so shaky and crowded.DSC03326This is a gondola that goes up to Grouse mountain. Very crowded. Lots of tourists. DSC03397This is up in a viewing pod of a wind turbine that located at the very top of Grouse Mountain, you take an elevator up the shaft of the turbine. The pod rotates slowly every few minutes. DSC03441Back on the ground with bro to take a pic of the whole turbine. DSC03461

Both Grouse mountain and Capilano were fairly straight forward to get to by public transportation.
